Proper health starts with the correct acid-alkaline balance in your body. The pH level (acid-alkaline measurement) of our internal fluids affects every cell in our bodies. Extended acid imbalances of any kind can overwhelm your body, and lead to health complications.

We have all followed the story from Chile of the 33 miners trapped 700
meters below the ground for 69 days. Well what most don't know is during this
miraculous rescue, the SD501 Alkaline Kangen water unit from Enagic (the same one used at Shanty Bay Wellness Center) was flown in to Chile and recognized as a water source that would keep the miners alive. The earthquake and tsunami that devastated Japan on Friday March 11, 2011, caused
unprecedented destruction and loss of life. Whole towns were flattened by the earthquake then washed out to sea by the tsunami. It's estimated that thousands have perished in the worst natural disaster to hit Japan in more than half a century.

The fate of thousands still missing is unknown. Sadly, among the dead and the missing are many of Enagic's more than 12,000 Independent Distributors who once lived in the Iwate, Miyagi, and Fukushima Prefectures: the hardest hit areas. And now it's feared there may be a melt-down at the Fukushima First Nuclear Power Plant. Already there have been three explosions, radiation leaks, and partial melt-downs of several of the reactor rods.
