Our Grand Opening was a huge success with visitors coming as far away as Toronto, Orillia, Midland, Barrie, and our own Shanty Bay. A surprise visit was made by the Mayor, Harry Hughes, Ward 3 councilor, Sandy Agnew, and MP Bruce Stanton, who honored our center with a presentation and joined us for our ribbon cutting ceremony.

The bake sale satisfied the 'healthy' sweet tooth. Our raw food culinary chef dazzled those who taste tested her treats, and bought natural skin care and wellness products, as well we welcome all our new customers who are now seeing water in a new way after joining us for our water talk.

The day was completed with an amazing show of support through our silent auction table that brought our green initiative efforts over $1,200. We look forward to joining Ray Twist on the greens, who won our hole in one contest, to be played at Shanty Bay Golf Course, where he will have the chance to win the Smart Car.

Thank you to all of you who showed up and for your kind words of praise about our center, and who are now booking appointments. Our goal is to bring health, wellness and joy to our community and to offer a center that removes itself from the big clinics in Barrie with a country charm where you can curl up with a cup of tea, in front of our majestic brick fire place, cozy blanket, and enjoy a consultation or therapy session with the comforts of home.

We will also be putting into full swing our fall programs with meditation, raw food classes, cooking classes, workshops, yoga for children, and much more as September is around the corner. Watch our web site for times and dates.
