HOMES FOR THE HOLIDAYS MAYCOURT CLUB OF BARRIE PRESENTS
SHANTY BAY WELLNESS CENTER AS THEIR VERY FIRST 'GREEN HOME' |
Shanty Bay Wellness Center was proud to have been chosen by the May Court Club of Barrie to be featured as their very first 'Green Home' in this years 19th Anniversary of Homes for the Holidays Tour.
Our center was showcased as the oldest home, standing for over 130 years, with all its country charm. We were also honored with the title of the first 'green living' home that May Court has had on their tours.
Rona played a very large part in our day with Christmas decorations and furniture, from their design center, that arrived by truck loads. Emphasis was made to our organic kitchen from their Orchard Park line and all the eco friendly products that we purchased from the Barrie store. Flowers & Sense were responsible for transforming the center into a Christmas wonderland and kept with the green theme by adding their special touch of fresh fruit, pine, birch and breath taking arrangements.
The day was a great success with over 1,800 people coming through the center and at one point a 45 minute line up was perservered by those wanting to see the home.
Shanty Bay would like to thank May Court for this opportunity to show our home and wellness center and a special thanks to all the ladies who put many hours into arranging this each year and for the generous concept of donating the proceeds to such wonderful causes. |

BETTER THEN A SPEED BUMP
Jason Donnelly's tree carving was not only the show stopper at our grand opening but it also showed the true meaning of 'playing it forward' with an incredible offer from Jason as he donated this amazing sculpture to our center. He also carved another tree which will represent our winter months, this one being our summer, and we look forward to having Jason come back to do spring and fall.
