NEW LYMPHATIC MASSAGE
Lymphatic massage or lymph drainage is a technique that dates back centuries. It utilizes a very light pressure combined with soft pumping movements in a clockwise fashion that can stimulate the opening of the initial lymphatic and increase the volume of lymph flow up to 20 times. Because the lymphatic system has no central pump and depends on muscle contraction through deep breathing, exercise, and manual manipulation to move fluid, this massage can improve metabolism and help the body to eliminate waste and toxins. What is the Lymphatic System? The lymphatic system plays a crucial role in your body's ability to heal from injury and ward off disease. It is essential to the body's drainage system for cleansing and filtering out toxins and bacteria. Aches, pains, soreness and flu like symptoms could all be caused by congested lymph pathways.
These could be symptoms of a blocked or sluggish lymph system:
o Frequent Cold and Flu Infections o Joint Pain o Headache and Migraine
o Menstrual Cramps o Arthritis o Loss of Appetite o Fatigue
o Mood Irregularities o Depression o Acne o Cellulite
Another common use of lymph drainage massage is in breast cancer cases. Women who have had auxillary lymph nodes removed sometimes develope edema in their arm. It is also very important post surgery to keep the lymphatic system pumping to encourage a healthy immune system.
If you are doing a detox of any kind this massage will complete the process by eliminating toxins from the tissue for a total body cleanse.
A strong immune system makes you feel balanced, happy and whole.
30 Minute Lymphatic Massage $50. 1 Hour for $80.

NEW BORN MASSAGE
Massaging a baby helps develop the bond between the mother and newborn. It’s most definitely true that babies are naturally curious and exploratory beings. Since their other senses are not quite fully developed yet, they learn most things through touching and feeling. Therefore, a massage makes the infant aware of the mother’s presence and stimulates its development in many ways.
We will show you some easy techniques to use on your new baby at no additional charge when coming to your home for a Post Natal Massage. |

REFLEXOLOGY
Reflexology is a spa treatment that works on "reflex points" on your feet, hands, and head (especially ears). The theory behind reflexology is that these reflex points relate to specific organs and glands in the body, and stimulating those points with finger pressure promotes health in those organs and glands via the body's energetic pathways.
This treatment is deeply relaxing with benefits that can be felt throughout the body. Our therapist will use various techniques that include holds, finger pressure, kneading, rotation and rubbing.
1 Hour Session $60. 1/2 Hour session $40 |
